Dermaplaning

Dermaplaning is a cosmetic procedure that involves the removal of the top layer of dead skin cells and fine facial hair (peach fuzz) using a scalpel-like blade.  Dermaplaning can be the foundation for all anti-aging treatments.  At age about 27 our body decreases in the amount of enzymes made, meaning the process of new skin regeneration has slowed down.  Dermaplaning is a noninvasive exfoilating skincare treatment that removes about 3-4 weeks of dead skin and unwanted hair.  Dermaplaning allowes brighter skin, offers better product penetration (deeper and more effective) and reduces appearance of find lines and wrinkles.  Dermaplaning can help fade areas of hyperpigmentation (dark spots), leading to a more even skin tone.  With dermaplaning, unlike some other skincare treatments, dermaplaning provides immediate results. After the procedure, you’ll likely notice smoother, brighter skin right away.  Renewed looking and feeling like baby skin.

Dermaplaning is generally considered a painless and non-invasive procedure, making it suitable for people who want to improve their skin without more aggressive treatments.   There is no downtime. There’s usually no downtime associated with dermaplaning, so you can resume your normal activities immediately after the procedure.  Dermaplaning is safe for most skin types, including sensitive skin. In addition to exfoliating the skin, dermaplaning also removes fine facial hair (peach fuzz), which can leave the skin feeling smoother and makeup application more even.
